We are seeking a Food Services Team Leader (commonly referred to as Assistant Manager, Shift, Lead, etc. in other similar businesses) to support Food Services Director the by communicating, tracking, training, and coaching all back-of-house team members on achieving and exceeding speed, service, and food safety goals. As a Food Services Team Leader, you will assist in overseeing team members in the continual pursuit of “Operational Excellence” while creating a positive work culture in the kitchen, receiving, inventory, and food safety areas of our business. A successful Food Services Team Leader must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work efficiently. The Food Services Team Leader reports to the Food Services Director and serves alongside the other Team Leaders, while being responsible for running shifts and overseeing Team Members in the back-of-house.
Pay Type: Competitive and based on experience
Position Type:
- Full-Time, averaging 45 hours per week
- Typical Schedule would be:
- 2pm - 11pm Tuesday - Saturday, Off Sunday-Monday

Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- 2+ years experience in leading others
- Proven ability to lead a team of 10+ team members
- Basic computer and iPad competency
- Kitchen experience a plus, but not required
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50lbs
Responsibilities:
- Delivers a “REMARK”able experience to all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A, both internal and external
- Ensures the back of house is adequately scheduled to meet the needs of our guests
- Serves as a Leader, trainer, and mentor to the BOH Team Members on his/her team.
- Trains new Food Services Team Members and follows up to ensure they’re equipped for success
- Ensures Chick-fil-A policies and procedures are followed
- Conducts one-on-one coaching sessions with team members, maintains a positive working relationship, and treats all employees with dignity, honor, and respect while holding them accountable for their individual responsibilities.
- Performs daily cleanliness, safety, and quality checks throughout all areas of the back of house
- Responsible for inventory management, and ensures the products are being rotated using the FIFO principle
- Complete understanding of each key position in the back of the restaurant
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
